This lesson describes the five senses. The five senses are: hearing, sight, smell, taste, and touch. The lesson also covers additional senses: sense of time, sense of balance, sense of the space around us. The science lesson describes observable properties for each sense.

Some examples of each observable property are:

Smell: Fresh, Smoky, Sour, foul

Touch: Bumpy, slimy, wet, dry

Hearing: buzzing, creaking, silent, pitch

Sight: colors, brightness, patterns

Taste: sour, bitter, tasteless, sweet, salty

Other senses: Time, balance, space

Created by a teacher, designed for elementary students, and fun for all ages. Elementary School Lesson. This is a science/social studies lesson for kids about the five senses. Perfect lesson for Kinder, First, and second grade. Fun learning experience for upper elementary grade levels as well.
