really liked the spider diagram for the unit, has this been taken from the revision guide

Glad you found it useful. I devised it from the specification originally to aid myself with a direction for C1a unit, then figured if the students understood how the material they were studying was linked together they would benefit also. I tend to get them to stick into their classwork book & shade the bubbles as we progress through the course. I have also used it to guide their revision - by traffic lighting the bubbles at the beginning of their revision - which gives me an indication on where revision should be focused in class and allows them to see their weaknesses and adress them accordingly.
