About This Lesson

Force Unit Lesson Plans

In this unit students are introduced to forces, the way they interact and their effects including motion and friction. Students will be doing hands on investigations to examine the interaction between forces, using spring scales, heavy loads and rolling objects. Students will also explore friction and the conditions that increase or decrease its force. Net force and how to calculate it will also be covered in this unit. Students will be assessed daily through discussion and  observation, and weekly by way of written formative assessment.
