<p>I mounted this model menu on card and laminated it for use with my 9th Grade class as an example of what they were going to be doing for homework. As an incentive to get homeworks in (not easy in my school!) I made it into a class competition and some of the menus that came back were amazing! Prizes were awarded and work went up on the wall. We then used the menus produced in class to do ‘Au restuaurant’ roleplays. The students definitely cared more about this roleplay activity than others because they were so proud of their menus and got to order of others’ as if in a real restaurant.</p>
