About This Lesson
This lesson is intended for use by classrooms pairing with schools in other geographic locations. It uses the National Geographic Resource: Why Care About Water and the watercalculator.org "Water Footprint Calculator" to engage student partners in a personal investigation and have a meaningful discussion about fresh water in their location. It is also presents an opportunity for global collaboration classes that have difficulty negotiating synchronous communication to have a meaningful collaboration asynchronously
