On large pieces of paper around the room with the descriptions of everyday examples of the three main gas laws (Charles, Boyle, Lussac) in action that are on the note sheet included in this file. At the bottom of each paper, draw a chart with three columns--headed with the three gas laws. Students rotate around the room to the sheets of paper, and they use a sticker or a stamp to mark the chart's column that is being described by the statement at the top. Then, discuss answers to each as students record notes on the worksheet. It is a great formative assessment!
