About This Lesson

The two toothed wheels interlock.
There are 18 teeth on the large wheel and 14 teeth on the smaller wheel. The speed of the teeth at edge of each wheel is the same
and so the smaller wheel rotates at 18/14 times the rotation rate of the larger wheel. If the large wheel goes round once
the smaller wheel goes round 1.286 times (18/14).
