About This Lesson
A literacy based activity. Students complete a piece of text then sort statements into a table to develop their understanding of why certain genes would be selected for GM food. If you have the Boardworks PowerPoint teaching resource the relevant slides to show are given. This activity allows for discussion of whether genes really 'belong' to the organism they are taken from.
