Graphic Organizer for Reading Informational Texts

Students use this graphic organizer when reading an informational text. First, do a picture walk of the book and record a question they have about its subject on the top line. They make a prediction about the answer to their own question and record it on the left hand side of the sheet using pictures and words. They then read the book's text to find a fact that answers their question. They record the fact they learned on the right hand side.
