About This Lesson

This is to be used for table group work. Each member of the group is assigned a role and asked to work according to their role. It's pretty self explanatory i.e the Encourager ensures all members contribute and all ideas generated are valued; Manager oversees; Reporter feeds back to the class. The children don’t need these cards to carry out their roles but I find they prefer to work with them.

Something I've been meaning to do for ages!

Thanks - as you say, the children don't really need them, but having role reminder cards is useful. Especially to remind the teacher that she meant to allocate roles, but keeps forgetting. Which is not good! But now I think I will remember. Thanks again.
