About This Lesson

Worksheet where pupils plot a graph of activity to find the half life, and hence the identity, of an element. They then establish which type of decay occurs, and write a decay equation. Answer sheet included. A projectable slide is included in my Radioactivity PowerPoint. You will need the 'One Stroke Script' font from http://www.fontemple.com/free-download/8206-One-Stroke-Script-LET-Plain… .

Excellent resource, the spreadsheet is invaluable support material and the graphs could be printed off and laminated for pupils to use along with the activity. The images and over all 'look' of the worksheet are high quality, and provide a variety of challenges to the student.
