About This Lesson

Students sort key phrases into the right box on the mandala - a kind of circular mind map. It gets them to think about the three main homesostatic mechanisms and how they are inter-related.

I really liked this - made it a little easier by starting them off with a few of the boxes already filled in - but that was mainly to prevent arguments over whether enough space had been left if they started off incorrectly

A really useful resource that can be adapted for other topics. I made it a bit easier by filling in the innermost circle for the students first.

I really like this idea. Be a good one to get the students thinking and applying logic to connect the keywords together in the appropriate way. Very useful. Thanks very much!
