About This Lesson

In this activity, students are shown how to convert a number in the form of a decimal to binary and then they are given 8 numbers to convert themselves. A useful table is included to help them along in this task. Solutions given.

Additional links are also given at the bottom of page 2 for them to venture onto other computing-related tasks.

This worksheet was created for CS Education week, for the Hour of Code, but can be used for a computing activity throughout the year. Students as young as Year 3 (7-year olds) can be given this to work on (and maybe younger!)
