Some extension activities listed for gifted and talented or a quick student. Aligned with Common Core State Standards: RL.9-10.1, RL.8.2 , RL.9-10.2

A good close reading lesson for the poem that requires students to use CC Standard skills. At the end the teacher asks what poems we could compare to based on poetic elements (great question) but a homework assignment could be for students to go out and find a poem that is comparable.
