Another useful and entertaining resource from Mr Porter although as he mentions you will want to tweak /adapt it to your classes. The last slide has a textbook reference for example but I couldn't see what book it was. Olber's paradox is covered in detail and the math needs should not distract the class from the issue if taught carefully. The powerpoint then focuses on the Big Bang theory and ends up mentioning Dark Matter.
