About This Lesson

Career Girls Empowerment Lesson Video Series:
Importance of Mentors (1:34 sec)

We’re not born with instructions on how to do what we want. That’s where mentors come in. Find out who mentors are and how they can help you achieve your dreams!

What are some things you'd like to accomplish today? How about in one week, a month, or more? Chances are, you have both short-term and long-term goals. Do you want to get up a half-hour earlier tomorrow to start your day with a healthy breakfast? Have you set a study schedule so you can crush that next exam? Are you planning ahead for college and a career? Whatever your goals, a mentor can help you aim high, stay on track, and get there. The role models in this video share how mentors have made a difference in their lives — and how you can find one, too!

Use the Resources here to learn more about mentors and how they can guide you in getting where you want to go!
