About This Lesson

Did you know that biodiversity is the “fabric of life” that holds our planet together? You can spark curiosity, compassion, and critical thinking in your students as they explore the incredible diversity of life on Earth—and learn how they can make a difference.

This cross-curricular program integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, English Language Arts, and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) to help students see the big picture of biodiversity. They’ll dig into what biodiversity is, investigate how human activities are endangering it, and discover actionable steps they can take to protect the rich variety of life that sustains us all.
