About This Lesson

This lesson is a stepping stone to the HIR unit, adapted for high school from the IB history course. Before students delve into their own individual search and research, on a topic of interest, they collaborate to search, research, plan and present a historical event categorized as an unsolved cold case. In the process, they try to analyze the facts and generate the most plausible theory about the events based on the 5W's and 1H. At the end of the week, students present their event and theory through any platform.
