Intro to Photography-the elements and principles

This is my first art project for my Creative Photography 1 students on the elements and principles of design. We use the Davis Focus on Photography textbook, chapter 2. I introduce the elements and principles of design, then have them make a collage vocabulary book finding images that match with the terms. On the cover, they are supposed to create a unique design that shows emphasis. I introduce students to objectively critiquing their own artwork by having them write about their cover design using the Feldman method of art criticism.
