About This Lesson

My focus is Algebra I for 8th graders between the ages of twelve and fourteen. There are a few topics I will focus on for two weeks, such as rational and irrational numbers, solve equations and inequalities in one variable, and create equations and inequalities with one variable. Many of the lessons for the first two weeks of school are review from previous math classes. All students after the review of the lessons should all be on the same page to start building on Algebra I concepts. At the end of the unit, students will review through a trash ball game for their test.
