About This Lesson
This is the second lesson in a series of five introducing middle-school students to the concepts of climate change. For the state of Kansas, this topic best fits at the sixth grade science level for earth-space science, but these lessons will work for any grade at the middle school level. I created these lessons as a part of my Girl Scout gold award to bring awareness to younger students about these important issues that will be affecting them for the rest of their lives. This lesson has an accompanying PowerPoint attached on the document for presentation purposes. All the resources you will need are linked. If you use this lesson in the classroom, I ask that you complete a survey linked at the top asking about class size and student reactions.
