Thanks to my former students asking "is this the easiest way to learn trigonometry." We have simplified right angle trigonometry to make it easier for students to learn. We start by using only Cosine and we have named them: type one, type two, and type three trig. Pythagorean's theorem has previously been covered. In type one we have the Hypotenuse length and the adjacent angle and find the adjacent side length. The following are attached: Power-point, Instruction sheet, and corresponding Assignments. One of the first things we do is verify all the scientific calculators the students are using are programed correctly to enter the formulas like in the instructions. Some calculators are progamed so the formulas must be entered in backwards.
