About This Lesson
I used this to introduce a project on Berlin with my 8th Grade who were not continuing with German last year. I played some music whilst letting the PowerPoint speak for itself. When the project got under way we ended up focusing mostly on the Berlin Wall. The students wrote a diary entry on what it would have felt like to be in Berlin when the wall went up; then did a newspaper report on the wall coming down. They then did a tourist info leaflet.
