<p>Draw some isosceles triangles with an area of 9 cm squared and a vertex at (20,20). If all the vertices must have whole number coordinates, how many is it possible to draw?</p> Aligned to Common Core State Standards: 6.G.3, 7.G.2

This is a really interesting interactive coordinate grid that will allow students to practice their area of triangle knowledge.

This is awesome. You need at least something like a projector for this to be any use, but next time I get a class in a computer room, I'm going to give this a whirl. It's brilliant the way the images of the correct triangles are 'frozen' on the grid and it auto-calculates the areas. You can adjust the target area too. Really, you should take a look at this one.
