presentation (posted on my Google site as well) on interpretting Khayyam's Rubaiyats. Present the first, work through the rest gradually turning over interpretation to the students. Conclude by having students work through the last Rubaiyyats in small groups using the handout to guide them. We read this in a unit on Persian and Arabic literature, and refer back to it when we read The Kite Runner later in the year.
