About This Lesson
Students will become Mr. Underwood in order to write the lead paragraphs of a news story detailing the dramatic events of chapter 15 in To Kill a Mockingbird. This idea can be used as an in-class activity, for homework, or as a quiz after students have been assigned reading. Teachers will need to go over the basics of the inverted pyramid style.
