About This Lesson
Project Summary: For this “Know Your Rights!” project, students will create Public Service
Announcements (PSAs) about their rights protected by the Constitution. Throughout this project, students will build upon their historical study of the United States Constitution by researching their constitutional rights and modern applications of these rights. Furthermore, students will make connections between history and current events, conduct inquiry-based research, and share their learning with their community. While this project was designed for a social studies class, the project can be adapted for any content area.
Driving Question: How can we use imagery to influence social change by educating our community about our constitutional rights?
