About This Lesson
Handouts to accompany the Polish legend of Krakus and the Dragon. Consists of 2 handouts (differentiated) that help children to look at the structure/ plot of a legend. The Structure activity gives the children the key elements of a legend and asks them to find evidence in the text; while the matching activity is easier and asks the children to match the correct part of the story to the structural elements. Could be used as part of an activity on summarizing or to help children to re-tell the legend.
