      About This Lesson

      In this lesson, students will develop an understanding of Rome’s legal, artistic, and technological contributions through an analysis of primary source images and four secondary sources. These sources will enable students to identify the specific contributions made by the Roman civilization. Lesson objective: students will be able to describe the contribution of Roman civilization to law, art, architecture, engineering and technology. Aligned to Common Core State Standards: RH.6-8.2, RH.6-8.7
