About This Lesson
The Lesson For All (LFA): Enhancing Global Competence is a series of units focusing on the fact that education is a human right, but one that nearly 132 million children (secondary and primary) out-of-school young people worldwide do not enjoy. The purpose of the LFA is to educate US students about the issue and, in some cases, teach them what the experience is like and what they can do to address this global issue. Aligned to Common Core State Standards: SL.K.1, SL.1.1
