Selected scenes from the 1949 film "All The King's Men" help illustrate abstract concepts of politics, populism and demagoguery. This lesson is one of many in “Portraits of America: Democracy on Film,” a free cinema literacy curriculum using classic movies to explore ideals and challenges of our democratic society.
