About This Lesson
During the Industrialization period in the United States, studied in 8th Grade, factory life can be pictured through many images found all over the internet. I usually start with those images and move onto a video clip of industrialization on the south side of Columbus, OH. https://youtu.be/xIxThhRO1TM. Lastly students read the Lewiston Mill rules, write them in their own words and then reflect how that compares to todays standards in the work world.
