About This Lesson

These markers are used when students have a ‘library period’; where they take a book from the shelf and replace it during the same class session. One of the common problems we’ve experienced when taking our class to the school library is that books do not get returned on time, and this is a great way to get students into the correct habits!

I'm a School Librarian and in my library my students use shelf-markers (also known as bookworms) to keep their place in the shelves. It's very useful and it's part of my ongoing procedures. Here's a link to some that can be purchased. http://www.demco.com/goto?PNHM74
