About This Lesson
Outline planning for topic with ideas for whole class; group and individual activities. I made a display of a world map for this topic and we added 'connections' each week using post-it notes; string and pins to make labels; e.g. where people had family or had been on vacation; where food we eat come from; places they knew of; places they wanted to find out more about; etc. Good cross-curricular links can be made.
