About This Lesson

My classes love these math relay races:

  • I get relays printed in sets and laminated.
  • students work in pairs; run out to my desk; get Q1; attempt to solve it and use a whiteboard pen to write the answer on the card.
  • Students then bring the answer to me. If the students get the answer right,  then they get Q2. If  the answer is incorrect, then I might give them another shot.
  • Repeat!

Enjoy these math relay races?

This lesson plan is amazing. I will have to adjust this to Kindergarten but they love to race while moving around the room. I'm excited to use this activity for review.
