About This Lesson

It can be a little difficult to learn about the Vietnam War when there are not many fun activities to help students retain the information given. An important proponent of the Vietnam War is understanding that it is the first war that the United States was involved in that was televised. In this activity students are placed into groups (recommended minimum size of five). Each group will study and look up media footage from the Vietnam War and then present their own news broadcasting skit focusing on the war itself as well as the antiwar movement happening on the home front.
