About This Lesson

In this unit we will explore the boundaries of life.  Is there non-carbon based life?  What is needed for life on other planets?  Can a robot be alive?  If cells come from other cells, how did the first cell originate?   Students engage in Socratic discussions, conduct research into a topic, and give an oral powerpoint presentation.
