It can be difficult to find creative activities for your lessons that also tick off other areas of the curriculum. This activity gives you an excitingly visual way of developing an understanding of different communities around the world; and the ways they are similar or different. Students make maps of the community where they live and then look at community maps made by children in Cuba and Peru. This gives students a deeper understanding of children in different communities while encouraging them to be creative.

Creative and informative too
I like this, it's fun, creative and easy to differentiate for individual pupils.
