About This Lesson

Write your own story about the Easter bunny! Each handout is themed with bunny, eggs, chicks, or Happy Easter (can be left our for non-religious entities). Pages are lined for beginning writers. Options include: Individual stories, Continuous story with students adding their own sentence,Group writings: beginning, middle, and end. Letter/Spelling practice, Fact vs. Fiction stories, Mini-Books (lace pages and make books), Paste onto construction paper and display, Peer Workshopping, Easter Read-arounds/storytelling, Assessment of writing skills, and many other uses! CCSS Alignment: W.K.1, W.1.1
