Measuring Atmospheric Heating asks students to think and act like engineers and scientists as they conduct an inquiry experiment about aerodynamic heating using everyday inflatables - balloons. Students discover the difference between qualitative and quantitative data; collect, organize, and interpret data; and use their data to explain transfer of heat energy.
