About This Lesson
I gave one card per each small group of 2-3 children and placed the sentences around the school grounds. The children had to hunt for the sentences; read them and decide which picture it matched with ( there are 5 different bingo cards) They then had to write the number of the sentence by the picture. Each picture has 2 related sentences. When they think they have bingo we go through each sentence to see if everyone agrees-if not they carry on until someone matches all correct sentences against the correct nocturnal animal.The children loved this.
A good resource encouraging active learning whilst reinforcing attributes of nocturnal animals.
