About This Lesson

The students will break up into three groups; research and present their findings on the types of nuclear radiation. They are responsible for making a poster to present their findings on the types of radiation. They are responsible for showing the following: Sources of radiation (radioisotopes) Health implications What makes up the radiation? What are the uses of the radiation? Management of the radiation How are they detected? Who first discovered the radiation? All other information that helps support your ideasAll of these findings MUST be shown on the posters
