About This Lesson
Students work in pairs. They are given a potato and have to plan a experiment that will allow them to calculate the concentration of salt in the cells.For the more able; slide 2 can be shown instead. This asks them to figure out a way of calculating the mass of the salt in the potato. The helpcards can be used in this task.
