About This Lesson
Students are provided a handout with directions, selected scenes and number of students needed for that particular scene. Students work together and modernize their selected scene from Othello. Students perform their modern script in class. Students can be as creative as they want with their presentation. I have had students create puppets. I have had students use a talk show format when performing Iago and Roderigo confronting Barbantio about Desdemona eloping.
