This is a great opportunity for your students in grades 6- 8 to get excited about STEM. In this lesson student will learn how to use the engineering design process to develop a landing system that creates the most drag to safely land a spacecraft dropped from a great height. They will also learn how to calculate surface area and measure the mass of the spacecraft.
