Peaceful Changemakers Series.
These units are part of a larger series on Peaceful Changemakers for kindergarteners which explores the life and legacy of – Dr. King, Alfred Nobel, Wangari Maathai, and The Lorax. Students learn about characters in books, people in their community, and famous people who bring about big, important, positive changes through non-violence. They then have the opportunity to plan and create their own action project.
