About This Lesson
The first page of this two-page document is a list of literary devices used in poetry. Instead of plodding through the list, I ask students to check off what they know, without having to read the definition, and we take it from there. The second page allows for students to practice identifying these devices in lines from poetry. They enjoy working in pairs or small groups.
An answer sheet for the teacher would be great.
