About This Lesson

The population of the world has grown from about 5 million residents in 10000 BC to over 6 BILLION people now. It is your job to convince the leaders of the world that we should explore settlements on other planets due to the population explosion. Based on the data in the graph below, determine an appropriate growth model for the population of the world. You should find at least three growth models and then explain which of the models is the most appropriate. Use residuals, graphs and correlation coefficients to explain why your model is the most appropriate
