About This Lesson
This is a word list teachers can use for reviewing spelling the /k/ sound. It includes high-frequency words (from Fry's). I use the word list to dictate words with the /k/ sound that my students sort by orthographic pattern. For example, students write words in which /k/ is spelled with a C in one column and words in which /k/ is spelled with a K in another column.
