About This Lesson
<p>This teacher’s kit looks at ways to use prehistory to support a local study. This kit helps pupils understand how sites are excavated and how this helps our understanding of the past. This kit supports schemes of work for history and also suggests other cross curricular links to support the development of children’s chronological understanding, historical inquiry, organization and communication.</p>
